That was the case this past summer until a junior-to-be combo guard from Moon High School in Pennsylvania decided to try-out for the chance to attend the Reebok ABCD camp and match his skills against some of the best high school players in the country.
“Now that player is getting calls and offers from some of the best programs in the country.
“Mike Walsh was an outstanding athlete at Moon High School in the early 70’s. His primary sport was baseball, and he played well enough to earn a scholarship at Ohio University where he became the Bobcats’ starting third baseman. Now his alma mater, along with plenty of other schools, are returning to Moon to recruit another Walsh-Mike’s son Brian….“
