UNIVERSITY PARK β Penn State junior guard Talor Battle slouched over with the ball in his hands as time expired at the Bryce Jordan Center on Wednesday night.
As his Nittany Lions walked off the floor, Battle stayed that way, catching his breath after needing a complete effort against Sacred Heart.Shooting a lights-out 63.8 percent from the floor, the Lions were able to fight their way to a 87-75 win against the Pioneers in front of a sparse crowd of 5,323 fans at the Bryce Jordan Center.
Coming off anabysmal 34 percent shooting performance in games against UNC-Wilmington, Tulane and Davidson at the Charleston Classic last weekend, clearly, it was good to be home.
