“The Penn State Nittany Lions head into the 2005-06 season with a very young roster and a refreshing influx of new and enthusiastic talent with which to continue the process of rebuilding the Nittany Lion program.<\/p>\n

“Six lettermen, including four returning starters, will be joined by seven new faces with plans on continued improvement and more wins. While six players return with Penn State experience, four of them will be sophomores, giving the Nittany Lions one of the youngest rosters in the Big Ten Conference.<\/p>\n

” ‘We are going to use our youth to our advantage,’ said head coach Ed DeChellis. ‘We have young legs and enthusiasm and are excited to get this season started.
