"..........sounds odd to me. ...if a ball hits JUST on the top but not the VERY top it's just a double?
How about "Really the top", "Tip top", "Really really the top" , "For sure the top" , Pinnacle of the fence.........well.............you get the drift!!!!!!!!! Are these HRs?
I guess "not so much the top", "almost the top", "pretty high up", "kind of the top" may just be 2 bases!!!Just saying the "top" of anything can be subjective!
Fact is I understand the "concept" of the ruling I just think the ruling stinks. Now it looks like MLB is defending it! Two wrongs but must make a very tip top
ONE MORE THING. A few feet to the right (maybe 6 feet) the same height of the wall the ball hit was the TOP. What if the ball hit 1 inch (not 6 feet) away from the bullpen section and bounces in the same direction?
I just think the league has opened a silly can of worms!!
